Turnaround

The average turnaround for processing and production is roughly two to three weeks from the order approval date. You may add a Rush service to your order to expedite to ten business days or less. Shipping time is additional and varies based on the selected shipping method from Bend, Oregon. It is possible for the total turnaround time to be shorter or longer depending on the above factors, holidays, weather conditions, deadlines, and delays.


1. Processing

Orders are usually processed within one business day of receipt. Order approval may be delayed if layout concerns are found.

2. Production

Standard: Approximately 15 business days or less.
Rush: Approximately ten business days or less for an additional $40 fee.

3. Shipping/Drop Shipping

Fees are based on package weight and size, destination, and transit time from Bend, OR 97703 to you or your client. If you'd like your order drop shipped, simply select that option when placing your order. An invoice will not be included in the package unless otherwise specified.

Domestic Service (UPS): See map below for standard delivery times. Expedited options are available as well.


International Service (UPS or USPS): Select "Other" as shipping method when placing an order. Shipping fees will be calculated, confirmed, and charged after the order is placed. A payment request notification will be sent via email at that time. International orders may incur additional customs, taxes, and brokerage fees.
The studio or production center will be closed on the following dates. Note that holiday schedule and delays are subject to change. Please check this list periodically.

Where is my order shipped from?
All AsukaBook orders are reviewed and processed in Bend, OR. All files are sent to the AsukaNet production facility in Hiroshima, Japan where they are printed and bound. Once that has been completed, the books are sent to our office in Bend for a final white glove review, packaging, and shipping.

How will you ship my domestic AsukaBook order and how long will it take?
Your order will be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) unless otherwise specified.



Do you have expedited shipping options for domestic orders?
Your order will be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) unless otherwise specified. Ground Service, 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Business Day services are available. If a preferred method of shipping is unavailable on the drop-down menu, please contact customer care to discuss further options.

How will you ship my international AsukaBook order?
International orders are typically shipped via the United States Parcel Service (USPS). Contact customer care to arrange for a UPS option.

Do you drop ship?
Yes. We can ship orders directly to your clients and will not include an invoice unless specified. Simply select the drop ship option when placing your order.

Will you send me tracking information once my order is shipped?
Yes. Your UPS or USPS tracking number will be emailed to the account on file upon shipment of your order.

Can all my recent orders be shipped together?
Yes. Contact customer care to arrange combined shipping.

What if I do not want a paper invoice included in my shipment?
You can opt out from receiving a paper invoice by checking the "Do not include a paper invoice with my shipment" box on the payment window. Note that opting out of an invoice is order specific and must be done with every order. See Terms of Service and Conditions of Use - Paper Invoice for further details about this paperless service.

Is there a handling fee for AsukaBook orders?
Yes. All standard AsukaBook orders incur a $7.99 handling fee. Please contact customer care for a custom order handling fee estimate.

Why does AsukaBook charge a handling fee?
A handling fee is charged to all AsukaBook orders to cover a white glove inspection and processing of each order.
