About Order & Print

How do I place a book order?
Follow the steps on how to upload a print ready PDF file generated by AsukaBook Maker HERE.
Follow the steps on how to upload high resolution JPEG files created using the ABiD Tool or the blank templates in Photoshop HERE.

Does AsukaBook review my files?
When placing an order, the user confirms that all submitted files are ready for print and take full responsibility for the layout and content.
As a courtesy, AsukaBook reviews for noticeable layout concerns, but does not check for grammatical errors, comment on design style, image or color quality. If any layout concerns are found, a representative will contact you with the option to resubmit a revised file or proceed with printing as is.

Do you offer faster printing service?
Our Rush service will reduce production time to approximately ten business days or less for an additional fee of $40 per order.

Can I order an unlimited amount of files per order?
No. You can only upload a maximum of five files per order, but you may select an unlimited quantity of products per file.

Can I cancel my order at any time?
No. Orders cannot be cancelled once it has been approved and processed by the production department.

Can I make changes after placing an order?
Customer Care must be able to contact the production department within 24 business hours of placing your order for a cancellation request. However, if the file was already processed by the production department, a cancellation is not possible.

Can I order an extra book jacket, case, or presentation box for my book?
Yes. Contact Customer Care to order.

Can I place an order for a new book combined with a reprint?
Reprint orders are sent immediately to production as they were reviewed and processed when the original order was placed. Orders for new books must still be reviewed and processed. You may request new book orders and reprint orders be shipped together by contacting Customer Care.

What do I do if my upload gets interrupted?
Always make sure that sleep mode is disabled in your computer settings before starting an upload. If for any reason your upload is interrupted, you will have to start the upload process again.

Is the AsukaBook website and order system compatible with tablets?
You may be able to view the website from a tablet, but placing an order is not possible at this time.

How many books can I order at one time?
We accept up to 5 different album files per order. Each file can have up to 99 prints each. Contact Customer Care if you need to order more than 100 prints.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express.

About Production Turnaround

What is the production turnaround?
Orders are reviewed, processed, and approved within one business day of receipt. However, approval may be delayed if layout concerns are found.
  • Standard Production: Orders are processed and shipped within approximately 13 business days from the approval date.
  • Rush Production (additional $40 fee): Orders are processed and shipped within approximately 10 business days from the approval date.
Transit time is additional and varies based on the selected shipping method from Bend, Oregon. This time is estimated by the parcel carrier and is not guaranteed.

About Shipping

When will my order ship?
We ship all orders as soon as they arrive from our production department. Standard orders will ship within 13 business days from the order approval date. Rush production orders will ship within 10 business days from the order approval date. Note that the total turnaround time can differ from above due to studio and production closures, holidays, inclement weather, and other unforeseeable delays. Learn more HERE.

Which shipping services are available?
All of our domestic orders ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) who offers Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, Next Day shipping methods.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes. International orders ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) - Worldwide Expedited, or United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail International.

Are duties/taxes included in the international shipping fee?
No. All international shipment recipients will be responsible for paying any import fees (i.e. duties, taxes, brokerage, etc.) imposed by the package carrier and their country's Customs Office.

How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping fees are calculated based on package weight, size, destination, and transit time from Bend, OR 97703. Insurance coverage is also added based on the content value.

Do you drop ship?
Yes. Simply change the shipping destination when placing your order. Invoices are not included in any of our packages.

Will you send me tracking information once my order is shipped?
Yes. Your UPS or USPS tracking number will be emailed to the account on file upon shipment of your order.

Can all my recent orders be shipped together?
Yes. Contact Customer Care to arrange combined shipping.

What if I do not want a paper invoice included in my shipment?
An invoice is not included in any of our shipments. You can view a copy of your invoice under your Order History.

Is there a handling fee for AsukaBook orders?
Yes. All AsukaBook orders incur a $7.99 handling fee.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Part of our check-out process involves a white glove inspection of all albums and cases to ensure these are in perfect shape prior to shipping.
  • If your order arrives damaged, be sure not to dispose of any damaged items, outer packaging, and packing material as these are often collected by the package carrier for inspection.
  • Promptly notify Customer Care about the damage.
  • Customer Care will instruct you on how to proceed and file a damage claim on your behalf.
