SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Adobe® InDesign® CC2025 or higher with Adobe® Bridge® C2025

MAC
  1. Unzip the AsukaBook-InDesign-Tool-1.3.12.1.zip file
  2. Change the Sharing & Permissions to Read & Write:
    •Open a Finder window
    •Go to Application > Adobe InDesign 2025 > Scripts > startup scripts
    •Select and right-click on folder startup scripts
    •Select Get Info
    •Change the Sharing & Permissions to Read & Write for all available options.
  3. Open your Adobe InDesign application.
  4. Go to Window > Utilities > Scripts.
  5. Right-click User and select Reveal in Finder.
  6. Copy the ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1 folder into the Scripts Panel folder.
    • Note: If there is a previous version of the ABId Tool in the Scripts Panel, delete the old version first.
  7. Close the Finder window.
  8. In the InDesign Scripts Panel, double-click on User, then double-click on ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1.
  9. Right-click on ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1.jsx, then select Run Script.
  10. The AsukaBook InDesign Tool will be available under the ABId menu.
  11. Review the application information and click Close.

WINDOWS
  1. Windows 7 or Higher Users: Log in as the administrator before starting ABId as the security of Windows were increased with this version and administrative privileges may be necessary to use the Tool.
  2. Unzip the AsukaBook-InDesign-Tool-1.3.12.1.zip file
  3. Open your Adobe InDesign application.
  4. Go to Window > Utilities > Scripts.
  5. Right-click User and select Reveal in Explorer.
  6. Copy the ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1 folder into the Scripts Panel folder.
    • Note: If there is a previous version of the ABId Tool in the Scripts Panel, delete the old version first.
  7. Close the File Explorer window.
  8. In the InDesign Scripts Panel, double-click on User, then double-click on ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1.
  9. Right-click on ABiD Tool V 1.3.12.1.jsx, then select Run Script.
  10. The AsukaBook InDesign Tool will be available under the ABId menu.
  11. Review the application information and click Close.
