Tell us about your company or studio.
The name of my studio is "Michelle Moore Photography", but I am working to create my brand to be known as just "Michelle Moore". I am located in Seattle, and travel frequently to Los Angeles to work with celebrity clients and to photograph editorials for magazines. I've been in business full-time for 5 years (just celebrated my 5 year anniversary in August) and have been shooting professionally for almost 8. I specialize in Fashion, Commercial and Lifestyle Editorial, and High School Senior Portraits.

Why photography?
I'm inspired to be a photographer, because I feel it really gives me the opportunity to help young teens feel great about themselves. With my fashion, I absolutely love to capture the beauty in the everyday and gives me a sense of achievement when I've had a really successful shoot, and can make someone feel great.

Why do you use AsukaBook?
The biggest thing that first drew me to AsukaBook was their ease of design and ordering. I love their products, and how affordable they are, so I can keep them affordable to my customer as well.

Any selling tips for other photographers?
We sell our AsukaBooks in 2 of our 3 packages, so selling them to our clients is simple and easy. Since they have been such an instant hit from the beginning they have immediately become a classic "Michelle Moore" product, and are part of our experience. Our clients LOVE them, and I would say about 75% of our clients either choose a package with the album included, or end up purchasing one ala carte. Since we sell to High School Seniors - a huge wall canvas is NOT what they want.  We tell them an album is an easy keepsake and a beautiful way to display your images in a non-intrusive way.

What else should people know about you?
The TWO most unique messages I spread with my brand are 1) being environmentally conscience and 2) raising awareness to healthy body image. Everything that we do from the products we choose, to the models we work with in our fashion campaigns, always falls in line with our message. We want girls to feel great about themselves, and start empowering young people to think more about their environment and helping to save our planet for future generations!
